Helpful Information

So, just today I found myself confused at why some of my pictures were coming up blurry & fuzzy. When I checked my file on my computer they were as crisp as can be, and when I clicked on them in my blog, they were also crisp & clear..hmmmm?

After a few hours of research, I finally understand and now know how to fix it!!

So, if you have a picture that comes over looking like this one...

I have a way to fix it!

Once your picture is uploaded to your post...go the the "Edit HTML" tab and click it;
when this comes up, don't be alarmed, look for the /s200/ part of the format. Each picture will have one.

See the /s200/, change it to width="200", so it will look like this now ( /width="200"/ )Now this number could be anything from s200 - s1600, whatever the number is, keep that number, just change the format! Make sense?

So, when you change the format, your picture will look like this...

Do you see the difference in the picture? It is not as blurry!

Priceless...

As I look out toward the Rocky Mountains, I am reminded of how wonderful God is! There are so many things we take for granted. One of those things is the scenery. I am an Autumn lover in every way. I love the crunch of the leave beneath my feet, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves on the ground, the smell of crisp, clean air, and the deep, rich, colors!

Now, don't get me wrong, Colorado is majestic with the mountains, but there is something about being in the Midwest on a warm, sunny, Autumn day!

My family (my side) is from Illinois and we have some land that has been in the family for many years. After my grandfather passed away, my dad & uncle inherited the land. Part of this is a large wooded area...known as "the timber". My dad built a sweet, little cabin down there so we could enjoy this wonderful place.

This past weekend my family spend the day down at the cabin enjoying a warm Autumn day! They sent me a glimpse of what they was with their eyes... I would like to share it with you!

So, close your eyes & smell the crisp, fall air. Now, open your eyes to see the creation of our Father in Heaven!

Now...can you imagine how beautiful it is during the winter???

A Praying Life..

I recently got a book to help me get back into prayer. It is hard to really commit yourself to praying daily, for specific things and for the things that truly matter. Growing up my parents were always big prayers. I can remember them getting together with a group from church and just praying... I am excited to take a journey to connect me more with God and start praying... If you would like to take this journey with me, the book I am reading is " A Praying Life" by Paul E. Miller.

Strawberry Jam Smile

My sweet baby girl is sick. She has had a fever since Monday night...sigh. However, despite the way she may feel, she can give me a smile. I know how awful she must feel because she is usually bouncing off the walls, but when she is sick, she just lays still. I just happened to have my camera out & she was laying with the dogs and just as happy as could be and she gave me this.......Strawberry jam smile. Hoping for a quick recovery from this little bug she has....be back soon!

Seven Prayers A Day

Angie over at Bring the Rain has a beautiful idea...prayer for our children. Not just simple prayers, but specific prayers at certain times of the day. It is described as Seven Prayers A Day. Take a moment and read all about it. It has been a huge impact on my daily life & I feel like Z is learning to appreciate the time we spend together with God!

I have written them down on index cards & on the other side written out the passage referenced. This way I have a prayer & a bible verse at the same time.
