Recipe Box Swap

I can't believe I forgot to do this!! I have been so busy, time just slipped by me. I do have a great BBQ appetizer recipe for ya. Everyone loves them, they are fairly cheap & easy. Give them a try for your next cookout!!!

Grilled Stuffed Jalapenos

This recipe calls for however much you want to make. I will give you the recipe for about 50 goodies. You can add or subtract to meet your needs!!

50 Fresh Jalapenos, rinsed
16 ounces cream cheese, room temp.
2 packages bacon, cut in half
10 - 15 bamboo skewers

Pre-heat oven 350 degrees & grill to med-high. Soak skewers for 20 minutes. Remove tops of jalapenos and core them. Remove all or some of the seeds depending on how HOT you want them to be!!! I find that a metal vegetable peeler works well to remove the inside. Using you finger begin stuffing the jalapenos. I place a small amount in first and work it all the way down and then fill until it is flat on the top. After all jalapenos are stuffed wrap two haves around the peppers. Once all peppers are wrapped skewer them. depending on the size of them 4-5 per skewer.

Place in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping once. After they are done baking, place on the grill and continue grilling until bacon begins to get a little charred, about 10-15 minutes. Note***the cream cheese will begin to come out, this is OK!!! You can grill them on the top shelf or on the bottom.

Let cool for a few minutes & then eat them up!!!!!!!! Some will be HOT! Enjoy!!
